Boot Man Inc. provides professional parking boot removal services. Customers who have paid for boot removal may receive a one-time SMS message containing their receipt link.
Boot Man sends transactional, one-time SMS messages only.
We do NOT send:
After a customer completes payment for boot removal and requests a receipt, we send:
Customers have the following receipt options, and may choose any one (or none):
Both phone number entry and SMS consent are optional and independent from receiving boot removal services.
Customer pays the boot removal fee to the Boot Man employee on site. Boot removal proceeds regardless of whether the customer chooses to receive an SMS receipt.
The Boot Man employee asks the customer how they would like to receive their receipt (or if they prefer no receipt):
“Would you like your receipt by SMS, by email, or no receipt?”
The customer may decline at any point. SMS is one of several optional choices.
If (and only if) the customer chooses the SMS option, they verbally provide their phone number AND must explicitly check the consent checkbox in the Boot Man app. Both actions are required and independent — entering a phone number alone does not grant consent. The Send Receipt button remains disabled until the consent checkbox is checked:
After the customer checks the consent box and the employee taps “Send Receipt,” a single SMS containing the receipt link is sent. If the customer does not check the consent box, no SMS is ever sent.
Customer receives one SMS message containing a secure link to their receipt PDF. No further messages are sent.
SMS receipt is one of several optional receipt methods offered to customers after boot removal. Customers may choose SMS, email, printed, or no receipt at all. If a customer chooses SMS, they must both (1) voluntarily provide a phone number AND (2) explicitly check the SMS consent checkbox in the Boot Man app before any message is sent. The following notice is displayed in the app at the time of collection:
Phone number collection: Optional — customers are not required to provide a phone number.
SMS consent: Optional — customers must explicitly check a consent box; consent is never assumed from phone number entry alone.
Message Frequency: One message per transaction only.
Msg & data rates may apply.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or service. Customers who decline SMS still receive full boot removal services and have alternative receipt options available.
